DAY 1: TRIP FROM TANGIER TO CHEFCHAOUEN
Guests will be collected from the port or airport, we will then drive through the mountains of the Rif towards the city of Tetoun, to enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains, we will then arrive in beautiful Chefchaouen. One of the most picturesque villages in all of Morroco. Chefchaouen has a Spanish style square surrounded by many arts and crafts & funky shops, & rooftop restaurants and cafes – where we will have lunch. Tonight we will spend the night in a local Riad .
DAY 2: TRIP FROM CHEFCHAOUEN TO FES
After breakfast, we will show you the “blue city” before departing for Fez.
Fez is a beautiful city founded in the 8th century. Fez is the oldest of the Moroccan imperial cities, with a medina that dates back to the 13th century,
With our travel company Trek Morocco Desert Tours, we will give you a time to enjoy the stunning views of Rif mountains & old medinas.
DAY 3: FEZ CITY TOUR
After breakfast, you will meet with your local medina guide who will come to pick you up for your tour of the oldest city in Morocco. Walking through its streets and alleys, of which there are thousands! Please have your walking shoes on & stick together with the tour guide. Our visit begins by visiting the Royal Palace, the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate, the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco during the 16th century. We will make sure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in Africa, the tanneries, the Attarine Museum and the Mulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, we will visit the tile cooperative and enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the entire Medina of Fez. Tonight’s accommodation and dinner will be in a local Riad.
DAY 4: TRIP FROM FES TO MEKNES – VOLUBILIS
With our travel company Trek Morocco Desert Tours, we will give you a time to discover Meknes by visiting the Romain site : Volubilis & the a famous attraction – doors in the Imperial city.
DAY 5: TRIP FROM MEKNES TO RABAT
Today we drive to Rabat the capital of Morocco, once in Rabat, we will start our city tour from the Hassan tower, one of the oldest mosques in Morocco, close by, we will visit the Mohamed V mausoleum, the tombs of the Alaouite sultans Mohamed V and his two sons. From there we will drive to visit the Kasbah chellah the old merinids Kasbah. We will then drive to the coast to visit the Kasbah of Oudayaa, a very important art gallery, not to be missed! After the visit you will have free time to drink mint tea on one of the terraces near the Kasbah and if we still have time, we can visit the King’s palace, from outside and enjoy moments in the gardens.
DAY 6: TRIP FROM RABAT TO CASABLANCA & CHEFCHAOUEN
With our travel company Trek Morocco Desert Tours, on our way back, you will be given a chance to explore & visit the “blue city” of Chefchaouen , which is also called chaouen (pek of mountain). During this trip we will cross and drive along the villages and the green fields of souk Laarbaa Lagharb. We will stop for lunch at the city of Ouazzane, then continue to Chefchaouen, passing through the pass of Rif Mountains.
DAY 7: TRIP FROM CHEFCHAOUEN TO TANGIER
With our travel company Trek Morocco Desert Tours, you will have free time to visit the city, we will then drive back to Tangier through the Tragedy Mountains of Rif. You will can enjoy the landscapes along the road while driving, & the small berber villages at the top of the mountains. We will stop for lunch at Tetouan, where free time is given to explore the city. After that, we will continue to Tangier. Where on arrival, you can check into your hotel.
